Nitti safety footwear is designed by renowned Italian shoe designer Franco Losio. Apart from its safety, comfort and durability features, Nitti safety footwear provides a fashionable look.

Mr Franco Losio lives in the city of Vigevano, a famous Italian shoe town with a strong reputation in shoe design since 1929. His designs have been well recognised by the Italian Shoe Association, and his products have been well accepted in Europe, USA, Latin America and Asia. Losio started his shoe career in several Italian shoe factories in Vigevano in the mid 1960s. He was involved in the shoe design and engineering department of the Ferrari Shoe Machinery Co, a world pioneer of direct injection polyurethane (PU) shoe machines in the 1970s. Many German, Italian and Japanese PU shoe factories used their equipment.

In 1972, Losio set up “Niagara Srl”, and his company has since become a world leader in PU direct injection plants for safety shoe and other sport shoe applications. He has received many awards in shoe design in various countries including Italy and Mexico.

Losio has a unique Italian design sense, and he has combined fashion, safety and comfort with the CEH Group’s innovative manufacturing technologies to make Nitti a very special brand of safety footwear.
