The early 2009 bushfires throughout Victoria have affected many people and devastated numerous communities in Australia. We at Nitti Safety Footwear share in the sadness of these tragic events and have played our part to extend help to the many communities and families affected. Through our Australian distributor, we have been encouraging corporate Australia to help in the rebuilding of the infrastructure and consider continued support for the affected. We have dedicated some of our sales proceeds in Australia to raise funds for the affected individuals and communities, and donated more that AUD10,000 worth of our Nitti Safety Footwear to the Victorian Bushfire Appeal for distribution to relief workers and those in need.
